Sommer, Jonathan
Managing Director Digitalisation
Jonathan Sommer was born on October 30, 1990 in Heilbronn. After graduating from high school, he completed a voluntary social year with an aid organization in Uganda. In addition to the social services at the mission station, he was jointly responsible for a new website, advertising campaign and technical preparation and implementation for a children's choir tour. This is how Jonathan Sommer discovered his passion for graphics, UI, UX design and programming. In particular, the interaction between hardware, software and apps as well as UI and UX design led him to study "Audiovisual Media" at the Stuttgart Media University. With a focus on interactive media/media informatics, he was already drawn to the business world during his studies and worked as a freelancer, first in the frontend area and then as a full-stack developer.
After graduating in 2014, he worked as a software developer at macio GmbH. There he learned to work in depth with agile methods within larger projects. In addition to software development, he also worked in the field of technical acquisition. By moving to Daimler AG, Jonathan Sommer broadened his horizons in IT and working in a large corporation. The project manager function in various IT projects deepened his knowledge.
His innovative nature and enthusiasm for new projects and products, in particular the interaction of complex systems in the field of software, paved the way for the FC Group.
This made him a co-founder of FC digitization to make complex systems easy to use.
