Wolfgang Schirmer was born on 04.11.1966 in Neustadt/Aisch. After vocational training as a central heating and ventilation engineer and basic military service in the German Armed Forces, he studied supply engineering at Munich University of Applied Sciences, graduating in 1993 with a degree in engineering. From 1993 to 1996, he worked first as deputy project manager and then as project manager at Kuehn Bauer Partner in Munich. Subsequently, from 1996 to 1998, Mr. Schirmer worked as a project manager at REA Beratende Ingenieure in Würzburg. He has been registered as a consulting engineer with the Bavarian Chamber of Civil Engineers since 1997. In 1998, he founded the engineering office Schirmer Beratende Ingenieure GmbH, which he still manages today. On 01.01.2020, Ingenieurbüro Schirmer joined the FC Group and is the northern Bavarian part of the group of companies.
