Thomas Hoffmann was born in Karlsruhe on June 25, 1968. After training as a power system electrician, he worked in plant maintenance. Following his basic military service, he completed further training as a foreman in electrical engineering at Deutsche Bundesbahn and ran a foreman's workshop responsible for the maintenance of electrical power systems. After qualifying as a state-certified electrical engineer, he worked in technical sales at Hager Electro and gained valuable knowledge in the planning of electrical energy systems and building systems technology. In October 2003, he was awarded the title of EurEta engineer by the BVT. His many years of professional experience and various further training courses, such as 'Responsible person for fire alarm systems according to DIN 14675', characterize his work at fc.ingenieure. Thomas Hoffmann joined fc.ingenieure in 2002. From 2005 to October 2017, he was Managing Director of the Heidelberg branch. In November 2017, he joined the management of FC-Planung GmbH in Ettlingen.
