Hoffmann, Michael - Managing Director of all Divisions and Locations

Michael Hoffmann, born on November 2, 1971 in Karlsruhe, Germany, began his professional career with an apprenticeship as an energy electronics technician. 
He then gained international experience as a commissioning engineer in Arusha, Tanzania. After his return, he studied systems engineering at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences, where he successfully graduated with a degree in engineering.

A significant turning point in his career was his work as a commissioning engineer at the Reichstag building in Berlin. This formative experience inspired him to found the FC Group, an innovative engineering firm specializing in the holistic planning of complex buildings and properties. Since 1999, he has managed the company together with his co-founder Ulrich Kraus and other partners. 

Under his leadership, the FC Group has developed into one of the leading engineering and digitalization companies in the German-speaking world. Today, it stands for outstanding innovation and technological excellence in the fields of construction, IT, energy, healthcare, logistics, water, security and mobility. Michael Hoffmann is also a member of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Engineers, membership number 4911
