Laboratories for research

In the field of research, flexible spatial structures that adapt to changing research requirements are of great importance. In our planning processes, we develop various concepts together with you in order to realise an optimal working environment for current and future research tasks.

Laboratories for teaching

We create ideal working conditions for teaching staff and students by harmonising room concepts in cooperation with the respective faculties. In addition to the ability to retrofit laboratory technology in teaching buildings, good visibility of the individual work areas and the realisation of barrier-free workstations are of great importance in the laboratories for student practicals.

Specialised classrooms

Based on joint consultations, we develop a customised equipment and room concept for your school. Flexible equipment plays an important role in the design of specialised classrooms in order to be able to react to changes due to new teaching concepts.

Laboratory equipment

When procuring laboratory equipment, we support you in coordinating, tendering and implementing the new equipment in the laboratory area. If required, any necessary additions to the existing laboratory equipment can be checked during the coordination of the equipment and prepared in parallel with the tendering process.

CIGL research building University of Giessen

The FC Group planned the laboratory equipment for the CIGL research building at the University of Giessen - a centre for research into lung and infectious diseases. The equipment includes S2 laboratory areas with cell culture laboratories, a semi-automated biobank, a laboratory with a two-photon microscope and a clean room. Focussing on diverse user groups, we offer optimal solutions for demanding research buildings.

Karlsruhe Municipal Hospital

The FC Group is an expert in the construction of laboratories and clean rooms in the new Karlsruhe Municipal Hospital Building I with pharmacy, microbiology, hospital hygiene and training rooms. The highly technical building with a customized ventilation system enables diagnostics and quality assurance in 18 laboratories. The pharmacy produces to the highest standards, while the MTL school offers 16 laboratory workstations and a modern, digitally networked training laboratory.
